The seadweller felt his vision fade in and out, as he was barely in a conscious state of mind. As he had feeling return to his body, he found that he was laying on his side, his shoulders resting on a wall behind him. He felt the coolness of the wall seep through his tattered clothes as he laid there in the consuming darkness of the night. As he strained to look around, he spotted a small fire which barely lit up a cement wall next to it. A few small pieces of the cement wall fell, revealing that the wall was cracked as if he had been slammed into it. He tried to sit up more, a sharp pain shooting into his chest as he coughed violently, violet blood dripping from his lips as he fought to stay conscious. The attacker had left him with internal wounds, bruised lungs and a couple broken ribs. He spotted Ahab’s Crosshairs to his side, reaching for it in an effort to feel protected. He grunted, giving up after a while as he realized it was too far for him to grab it. He felt a familiar, smooth object and he grinned as he picked up his wand. He frowned instantly, seeing it was broken.
As a cool wind blew past him, he shivered and groped for his scarf, finding it nowhere near him. He cursed silently as he spotted his now tattered and bloody cape fanned out to the other side of him. His head rolled to the side slightly, revealing that one of his horns had cracked. It wouldn’t take much more for it to break. Amongst the silence, he heard a familiar noise: a honk of a clown horn. He dropped his head, a tangle of black and violet hair flopping into his face as footsteps echoed the area. The seadweller glanced up, seeing the silhouette of another troll approaching him. In the growing darkness, the prince could just barely make out that the other troll was covered in different colored blood, a smirk forming on the other’s face. The other troll stared at the weakened seadweller, causing the smirk to grow. A trickle of dark violet blood rolled down the other’s face, causing them to wipe it off and glance at it before licking the blood off their hand.
